“Trieste in punta di penna” with Martina Campagnolo

The literary Hotel is pleased to invite you from Saturday 8th February to Sunday 30th March to the art exhibition “Trieste in punta di penna – viaggio illustrato nella Trieste letteraria” by the emerging illustrator from Trieste Martina Campagnolo, aka “lamartina_illustrazioni“. Treat yourself to a moment of relaxation between the pages of a book and the streets of Trieste described through the innovative stroke of the artist.

We hope that as many people as possible can appreciate this exhibition, which celebrates the literary soul of the city and the great writers who have made it important. Each illustration tells a piece of this unique bond, transforming the poetry and stories of Joyce, Svevo and Saba into images, evoking their words through lines and colors without forgetting the beauty of everyday life in the city.

Martina is committed to ensuring that digital illustrators get the respect they deserve, just like traditional painters, enhancing this modern art form and its expressive depth.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on Saturday 8th February from 4 pm at our hotel, in Via Oriani 2, and will be the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the evocative atmosphere of the works on display, get to know the artist and have the opportunity to ask her questions and curiosities. The cover illustration, which portrays Joyce, Svevo and Saba, is just a small taste of this visual itinerary between art and literature.

The exhibition remains open to the public free of charge without reservation every day from 11 am to 8 pm, except for some days in which the room will be reserved for private events. Check availability at +39040362415 or come in person to our place in Via Oriani, 2.
